Name Explained:
The name of the Magazine “Argunners” originates from the Pionierlied “Argonner Wald” and the area “Argonnen” a French forest in which during World War 1 some of the bloodiest battles were fought and thousands of lives were lost. A place with immense history. To have the name easier on the tongue, Argonner was changed to Argunners. Why Gonner to Gunners? That idea just came after hours of thinking about the name a book passes my eyes with Gunners of 1914, who fought in the battle of Argonner Wald. Therefor the name was choosen “Argunners”.
