Around 1300 German soldiers from the Wehrmacht, who were buried in 1943 in Askoldowa Mohyla Park in Ukraine will be finally exhumed and receive their final resting place. The exhumation will take several weeks and takes place by order of the Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V. with the help of soldiers from the German Bundeswehr and the Ukranian Military. The remains of the soldiers will be reburied in the German Cemetery of Kiev.
