‘Chesterfield Tides’ follows young man’s journey through WWII, beyond

Terry Cooper, a young man in North London during World War II, wanted to make a difference and joined the army. He quickly realized that he had talents and intelligence that separated him from the others and it got him noticed by the top brass of his regiment. Little did he know where those skills would take him.

Author E. Michael Ferris tells the thrilling story of Terry Cooper in his new novel, “Chesterfield Tides” (published by Trafford Publishing), which follows Cooper on a journey that will find him traversing war-torn Europe and beyond.

Upon completion of his training, Cooper is sent on an undercover mission deep into Germany before D-Day; a mission that he has little chance of surviving. But no one could have trained him for the events that unfolded. Even getting to the safe side of the moving battle lines provides little relief when Allied soldiers are convinced he is a German spy.

Throughout “Chesterfield Tides,” readers will follow young Cooper through hostile WWII Europe as he tangles with a maniacal officer. Many years after the last shot is fired in anger, he learns of the lasting impact of his days in Germany.
