The Bomber Command Memorial in London’s Green Park has been vandalized with white paint overnight. It’s the sixth time the memorial has been a target of vandals after its revealing in 2012. The whole memorial including the 8 bomber crew statue has been stained.

Work to repair the damage has begun immediately and Scotland Yard is investigating the vandalization after been given CCTV footage. Estimation of the repair costs is yet to be determined but is likely to run into thousands of pounds.
According to the DailyMail the Statue of Winston Churchill and FDR on New Bond Street have also been hit on nearby New Bond Street.
